wuftpd reset during large file transfer

I am using virtual server patch v0.9.7 for kernel 2.2.13 
(ipvs-0.9.7-2.2.13.tar.gz)  on a box running test and found that when I transfer
files from command line ftp through IPVS kernel to the wuftpd 2.6
running on a linux 6.0 box, the client received reset from the IPVS
box frequently.  I did tcpdump on two interfaces on the IPVS box
and can only see the reset was from the IPVS box to the ftp
client (a solaris 2.6 box) running on the command line. The
wuftpd side did not have any reset in the tcpdump.

Does anyone else experience the similar problem?  If so,
how to fix it?
