I belive my original posting on this subject is somewhat misguided... I'm not really too sure about how proxy arp operates...perhaps somebody with better knowlege could comment on this.

Has anybody had any experiance using proxy ARP and the LVS-NAT to do load distribution where the LVS arp's for the real severs's default route?  I haven't tested it but this would enable both IP's for the LVS to be on the same network but not on the same ethernet segment.
