Hello,

I set up a LVS-DR cluster with two computers. One director, both realservers.

When I try to connect to the Virtual IP, the first try does not suceed. The
web browser (IE) times out without having a response. When trying again a few
seconds later, the connection is immediatly etablished and the http
round-robin works great.

It seems the first connect wake up something but not enough to have it handle
the request. The next tries then are able to connect to the service.

It I close my browser and wait a few moments, then the problem is back ...
Sounds like I activate a persistent connection with my first try ...

I'm really disapointed and does not know where to have a look.

IPVSADM is configured with rr scheduling and I resolved the arp problem by
using the lo interface on the real-server. The director (used also as a
realserver) serves request serves request through localhost (127.0.0.1)
redirection.

This is a test setup and I had no problem except this one.

Thanks for any idea !

Sylvain.
