Hi,

I am willing to build a two-node cluster with LVS, HeartBeat and Mon. Can I do it ?

Here is my situation : RedHat 7.1, two NICs on each box
and I don't have the machines yet so I have to take a decision before I can try it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| eth0 : 0 | eth0 : VIP ---------------------------------- --------------------------------- | Inactive Director | | Active Director | | RealServer1 | | RealServer2 | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |--------------------| | | | serial link | | | | | | | | | | ---------------------------------- --------------------------------- | eth1 | eth1
                             -------------------cross cable------------------

My problem is about the different network interfaces to set up. I looked at the
localNode setup in the LVS-Howto. But I must merge the HeartBeat configuration
and the LVS configuration and it is not clear.

eth0 : ACTIVE DIRECTOR : VIP
eth0 : INACTIVE DIRECTOR : 0

lo : RealServer1 : VIP ?
lo : RealServer2 : VIP ?

Thanks a lot if you can help me on this

François
