Up until recently ldirectord didn't allow you to specify the
forwarding mechanisms for fallback servers. This was an oversight
on the part of myself and Jacob.
It was fixed a few weeks ago and the version in CVS should
be ablt to deal with your sitionion - though arguably no better
than your patch :)
