Here's my setup -

 2 LVS servers, failover using heartbeat, with the following configuration

 RedHat 7.2
 Kernel 2.4.18
   linux-2.4.18-ipvs-1.0.0.patch
   forward_shared-2.4.5-1.diff

 Kernel configured as shown in the Documentation.

output from ipvsadm -

  # ipvsadm -v
  ipvsadm v1.20 2001/11/04 (compiled with popt and IPVS v1.0.0)
  # ipvsadm
  IP Virtual Server version 1.0.0 (size=4096)
  Prot LocalAddress:Port Scheduler Flags
    -> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn
  TCP  priv-vip:http rr persistent 360
    -> web2:http                    Route   1      0          0
    -> web1:http                    Route   1      0          0

forward_shared is set to 1 for the interface on the same network as the
realservers (this interface also has the VIP aliased to it).

web1 and web2 are W2K machines, with loopback adapter installed.

I can connect to port 80 on both of the real servers (from both the LVS server
and outside machines), but not through the VIP.

Any ideas? need more information?

Thanks,
  Matt
