        Just tried, it works:

- IPVS 1.0.6
- LVS-NAT
- ip_vs_ftp
- no iptables, no ipchains rules
- server wu-ftpd 2.6.1
- client ncftp 3.0.1
- initial delay caused from IDENT timeout

        May be you are not lucky enough, may be the response
is split in 2 packets?
