Hi All,

I am having trouble finding documentation on how to use fake for arp spoofing in case of director failure. Could someone please point me to the docs or perhaps send me some example conf files.

Heartbeat is working between the director and the backup director but that only takes over the VIP.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Lawrence,

Fake is integrated into heartbeat...
Why would you need anything else other than the VIP taken over ?
Both directors always keep their own RIPs

Ah unless your doing NAT and you also need to failover you internal shared interface...

In that case just add your internal shared interface to the haresources file..

i.e.

      Shared VIP
RIP 1 RIP 2
      Shared IP

If you are using LVS DR/TUN you just need

        Shared VIP
RIP1 RIP2
