I solved my own problem

Directory security was set to integrated windows authentication.

I am surprised that this setting would kill ldirectord...but it did.

So am I. I would like to resolve this problem.
Is it possible for you (or someone else) to set up
an ISS machine configured with said integrated windows authentication
and a test page so I can test ldirectord against it.

It would help me a lot.

Thanks

Horms,

I missed the rest of the thread...
but I've changed our intranet to Windows Auth only
its here :

http://intranet.crocus.co.uk/

'Windows auth only' sucks cause I can't use it from linux and it adds zero extra security.

Do you need a username/login ? if so I can mail these to you direct.
