That's what I'd hoped, but the following should work (on the
realserver):

   root@realserver:~# telnet 82.115.225.254 80
   Trying 82.115.225.254...
   telnet: connect to address 82.115.225.254: Network is unreachable

Ho. But it works on my site. And the default route for the VIP network is outside. Could it be an arp problem ?

What kernel version are your realservers running?

I don't think it's arp... the arp table doesn't contain the VIP on the realserver, which is right. arp tables elsewhere on the network point to the director.
