Hi Everybody,

I just installed my first 2.6 lvs version (1.2.0) with ipvsadm 1.2.4 on
RHES 4.0.
The stand out thing was that lvs is keeping the ActiveConn (for 900secs)
and that the InActCon are very low. Unlike in older versions (the
ActiveCon disappeared
nearly instantly and went over to InActConn, now in 1.2.0 they stay in
the ActiveCon).
Everything seems to work fine though, but i am a little bit confused
about the different ActCon/InActCon handling...

in 1.2.0
-> RemoteAddress:Port Forward Weight ActiveConn InActConn
 -> 194.162.60.34:http           Route   9      1463       7

in 1.0.10 it looks like this:
 -> 62.26.220.91:http            Route   9      664        93709

ipvsadm -Lcn for 1.2.0 shows only "ESTABLISHED" connections (very few
SYN_RECV) and in 1.0.10 mostly FIN_WAIT(InActConn) in and a few
ESTABLISHED (ActiveConn)

I guess it has something to do with a different tcp handling in 2.6, but
i am not sure. Can Anybody give me hint?Some links to read? :)
Thank you in advance.

Best Regards
Hendrik Thiel
