As with all LVS things subject to argument...but
On all platforms apart from windows you want for the loopback i.e. never use. On windows you can get away with IF you use a priority 254 80% of the time. can be used if you mod the registry...
But we've found that will work better 99% of the time because windows by default uses the smallest subnet first for routing
and a class  A will never be used instead of a class C.
