Stange, you are the second person to report this kind of problem
in as many messages. And I don't recall havning seen it before.
Could you try the latest version of ldirectord (1.127 or 1.77.2.36),
you can find it using the instructions on
http://www.vergenet.net/linux/ldirectord/cvs.shtml
Also, can you verify that you have exactly v1.77, by sending
the very first line of the ldirectord script, which includes the
version information.
