Yes, but if the real sever is misconfigured you will always get a load
of SYN_RECV states i.e.
LVS has sent the packet but the real server never replied...

Can't offer much help though apart from try and get simple DR same
subnet working first, then move on to TUN.
How about trying an iptables REDIRECT (horms method) rather than sysctrls?
I think your routing is getting confused with the tunnel.
