that kernel didn't exist when the script was written. 
However the user level tools weren't expected to change (and 
haven't) so you're getting a warning that it hasn't been 
tested but is likely to work.

You can run most of the commands from the mini-HOWTO by 
hand. However you'll need to run the arp-ignore commands 
rather than the hidden commands to handle the arp problem.
