Sorry for not understanding, but you didn't make it clear (to me) that
it was *only* those lines being logged.

You're right, it does sound like an Apache problem. Every single DR
system I can look at right now isn't suffering from that.

What has changed in your Apache configuration? It sounds to me like
something has - maybe a system update has caused, or someone's changed a
config line somewhere. I suspect asking on the Apache list
users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx might get a response from someone who understands
what's going on.
