Subject: [lvs-users] Loadbalancer fail over

Hi,

Currently I am trying to setup a simple two node cluster using LVS and
heartbeatI have a thread Low maintenance High Availability -
LinuxQuestions.org<http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-server-73/low-maintenance-high-availability-685141/>
detailing
it

Based on everything I read about LVS and especially ldirectord it seems to
me that the load balancer would become the SPOF.
Does this mean that I have to setup the load balancer in a active/passive
setup or can I configure it in a active/active fashion and it
'automagically' selects the right load balancer?

I am still in the research phase so any ideas/suggestions/comments/feedback
are highly appreciated

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,

Serge Fonville
