Subject: [lvs-users] net-snmp-lvs-module SRPM: 64-bit counters not showing up in snmpwalk of 1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1

 Hi all,

 I recently built

http://install.linux.ncsu.edu/pub/yum/CLS/CLSTools.EL4/srpms/net-snmp-lvs-module-0.0.4-2.EL4.src.rpm

on a 32-bit, Oracle Linux 5 (rebranded RHEL5) machine. The build and
LVS host both have the same versions of net-snmp. I can snmpwalk
1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1 on the LVS host after installing the compiled
RPM, but snmpwalk does not find anything at
 1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1.13 or 1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1.14. I put
log statements in the static int lvsServiceTable_handler function in
lvs.c and it is definitely going into the COLUMN_LVSSERVICESTATSINBYTES
and COLUMN_LVSSERVICESTATSOUTBYTES case statements in that function's
switch statement when I try to hit 1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1.13 or
1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711.17.1.14. I'm wondering if anyone has run into this
before or has some advice on the best next step for figuring out why I'm
 not getting those values.

 -David Warden

Here's the info about my snmp RPM versions:

Summary : A collection of SNMP protocol tools and libraries.
 Description :
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a protocol used for
network management. The NET-SNMP project includes various SNMP tools:
an extensible agent, an SNMP library, tools for requesting or setting
information from SNMP agents, tools for generating and handling SNMP
traps, a version of the netstat command which uses SNMP, and a Tk/Perl
mib browser. This package contains the snmpd and snmptrapd daemons,
 documentation, etc.

You will probably also want to install the net-snmp-utils package,
 which contains NET-SNMP utilities.

 Building option:
        --without tcp_wrappers : disable tcp_wrappers support
