Have you tried modifying the tcp/udp/fwm timeout option in ipvsadm? The 
default timeout in LVS is :

# ipvsadm -L --timeout
Timeout (tcp tcpfin udp): 900 120 300

For modifying the values, have a look at the "--set" option.
