Hi all

I'm trying to figure out how many simultaneous conections can handle a
single ipvs server.

Our server has this settings
2 cores CPU at 2,8Ghz,
512 MB RAM
2.6.32 linux kernel
NAT method
ipvsadm-1.25-10.el6.x86_64
default hashing size table (2^12=4096) in kernel

It will handle one VIP to a pool of real servers providing remote
application acces to customer users

I've read the doc
http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/performance/lvs.ps.gz (2001) so I
assume that I can expect rougly 4000 conections/sec before servers
begin to delay requests. It is correct?

I asume that it linearly depends on VIPs used, so if I set up 2VIPs I
can expect 2000 conecctions/sec per VIP

I will apreciate experiences and docs about ipvs capacity an how to
scale for larger number of conecctions

Thanks in advance
Alice
