If you like to use the GUI tool on RedHat-5.1, run the Control-Panel, then
choose the Network Configurator, enable the "IPv4 Network Packets
Forwarding" option in the Routing table.

If not, vi the /etc/sysconfig/network and set
        FORWARD_IPV4=yes

Finally, reboot your Linux box.
