| Subject: | Can my real servers be on the same network as my VS? |

Hi,
It may seem a stupid question, but here it goes anyway... ;)
I want to set up a virtual web server and use 2 machines as the real
servers and all 3 machines are on the same network. Can this be done?
[VS = 172.16.0.2]----------[== HUB ==]
| |
["real" server = 172.16.0.3]--+ |
|
["real" server = 172.16.0.4]----+
I compiled patch 0.7 on my RedHat 5.2 (kernel 2.0.36) and followed the
"Greased Turkey" document to have some ideas. Basically, I just typed
ippfvsadm -A -t 172.16.0.2:500 -R 172.16.0.3:80
ippfvsadm -A -t 172.16.0.2:500 -R 172.16.0.4:80
... but it didn't work... :-(
Any help?
TIA,
Paulo.
