Hi,

I just rebuild the kernel (vs-0.8) with the configuration like yours, the
.config is attached
for reference. I didn't get your problem with the LocalNode feature. It worked
well.
I don't know why you got such a problem. The LinuxDirector runs on a PC with
Intel Pentium 166MMX and a NE2000 compatiable NIC.

As I remember, you run Linux on Alpha server. I don't believe that processor
type
matters. Since I don't have Alpha server running Linux, I cannot repeat your
configuration on Alpha server. You can get a PC and redo your LinuxDirector
box
on the PC again, see what happens?
