I noticed this as well on 2.2.12 with the 2.2.12 kernel patch. I'm interested
to know if this is correct behavior, as this will not work across all our
routers here at work (proxies that swallow these redirects and such). You're
not alone on this one, i have been trying out nat in the meantime.

Subject: ICMP redirects being generated
Hi,
now I got confused :-)
The LinuxDirector sends out ICMP redirects to the actual servers instead of
forwarding the packet to the real servers MAC address (direct routing) -
any idea anybody on what could cause this? It is load-balancing the
targets like it should (ipvsadm tell's me about active connections to all
servers plus a typically high number inactive ones) - but via icmp redirects?!
It's a 2.2.12 with 2.2.13pre6.
Thanks,
Axel
