Really a couple of notes for Joe really for the HOWTO...
I've done some testing with other OS versions, and found that VS-DR works
on all versions after 5.3. (I don't have an earlier box to test on.)
Loopback device config under IRIX:
/usr/etc/ifconfig lo0 alias $VIP netmask 255.255.255.255 -arp
(no suprise there)
Sun tested SunOS 5.7 - config options:
/sbin/ifconfig le0:3 194.83.240.140 netmask 255.255.255.255 broadcast
194.83.240.140 -arp up
(Should work on lo0:0 (etc) as well)
