Strictly speaking you need the ip-aliasing to put
2 IPs onto one NIC. If you had 2 NICs on your director
you wouldn't have had this problem.
In practice most people are using 1NIC and you'll need
ip-aliasing to get your LVS working. I'll put a note
into the next version of the HOWTO
