Hi,

you say in the docu, a single Director with a Pentium class processor
can handle up to 20 servers. but what do you mean with "pentium class"?
as you know, the range goes from 60 to 1000 MHz! the fastest is more
than 10 times faster than the first one.

could you (all people, who are running a LVS) post your experiences,
which hardware can handle how many server/traffic?

for now i use a pentium 200MHz computer as a LVS-NAT director, i have a
2 MBit connection, and i want to run about 30 different webpages (on two
real servers). i want to add a 2. server, so one can act as the
director, the other one as backup and monitoring server. the question
is, do i need a more powerfull computer or is the 200MHz enough?

greets,

simon
