Normaly that would be true, but can actualy run about 12Mbit/s trough
the tv cable, the trick is that we have a direct connection to one of
the service points. Normaly around 200
households are connected to such a cable, sharing the 12Mbit.

Maybe you didn't tell us the whole storyof your connectivity setup,
but I think LVS can't overcome physical realities: the "1.5M down/1M up"
rate is a hard limit of the local
cable modem network loop and not the modem. Therefore adding more
cable modems to the same cable connection does not increase bandwidth,
since the base bandwidth is
already shared between all modems on the loop.
