I've uploaded to the Documentation pages of the LVS site the following
1. Configure script
http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/Joseph.Mack/configure_lvs-0.6.tar.gz
which will configure the director and realservers for VS-NAT,VS-DR and
VS-TUN using a conf file. The script expects a 2.2 kernel on the director
and can handles most unices on the realservers. It does elementary
checking on the setup and catches common problems (default gw wrong,
networks not connected). The script handles multiple or single NICs on
each machine. It expects a single director and is not (yet) conpatible
with Horms ultramonkey/heartbeat setup.
2. Performane tests on a simple (one realserver) LVS.
This points out problems to look for in setting up the hardware that
you'll use for the LVS. All the tests were done using the configure script
above. There is a summary at the top of the file.
http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/Joseph.Mack/performance/single_realserver_performance.html
3. The HOWTO has moved
It's now at
http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/Joseph.Mack/LVS-HOWTO-991205.gz
A new one is in the works, but will be a little while yet.
