Hi all, apologies for this very off topic, topic. ;-P
I have some Perl code that was (official) version 1.2.7 and a programmer
friend has made substantial modifications (mostly additions though -- I
think, not changes) to this codebase. The newer official release is 1.2.9
and I was wondering if there was a relatively painless way to update the
1.2.7 + changes against the 1.2.9 codebase? Obviously some diff + patch
procedure... or am I really left with diff + patch with lots of user
prompts?? ;-)
Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction (HOWTO URLs?) ?
TIA
Ben.
