compile ipvs-0.2.6 error

When i compiled linux-2.4.0 with netfilter supported and ipvs which had
already patched four diff files to kernel.

during make bzImage,such error appeard:
net/network.o: In function 'ip_vs_leave'
net/network.o: (.text+0x42000): undefined reference to ' __ip_vs_svc_lock'
and the compile exit.

what did it mean?
