Joe is right, you should invest a small amount of time in
reading (e.g. HOWTO), although that's not what you really want to do now.
Many of the questions you have and will have in the future are
getting clear by understanding (and reading!) the explanations given in the
"configure-lvs_0.xxx"-Script.
Download and open it for reading, there are lots of
explanations as in the HOWTO's.
When you begin, there's no simple way to explain to you some
single instructions, you need to understand the whole sense of the project, then
everything goes faster and more easy ;-)
