[root@fe4026 fea]# /sbin/ifconfig dummy0 up [root@fe4026 fea]# echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/all/hidden [root@fe4026 fea]# echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/dummy0/hidden bash: /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/dummy0/hidden: No such file or directory [root@fe4026 fea]# cd /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf [root@fe4026 conf]# ls all default eth0 eth1 lo could someone explain why dummy0 doesn't get created in /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/. ? I don't have much experience with alias interfaces and ifconfig... ( do I have to create them? ) |
