I thought I saw Joseph indicate a few days ago (check the archive) that the
LVS code was supposed to be fairly portable? I don't know if I'd want to go
bleeding-edge ("pain") if I were you, but it would be nice to know if LVS
could run on *BSD..
If I were you I'd choose debian or suse linux for your director.
