Why not just get some crappy client on a seperate private subnet. The LVS
director box could post another alias interface and connect to this box via
that method. It should be a simple matter of testing after that.
I feel like this is a more 'pure' way of testing things. The director will
not be needlessly loaded performing the client functionality that you want
to run. I'm not certain of what other problems you're avoiding by doing it
this way, but I can definitely sense some possible avoidance of pain with
this method.. :>
