I'm afraid no-one knows what this is about, or they would have replied to
the first posting. I can only assume something wierd is happening. 
I compile most of the code posted to the LVS page on a UMP and an
SMP machine, so would have seen any problems by now. There are enough
people compiling the code that any problems show up in a day or two 
if I'd missed it.

Do you have 

1. gcc-2.95 or gcc-2.95.3
2. fresh kernel from ftp.kernel.org (not a kernel from some distribution)
3. matching patch from the LVS webpage.
4. reboot to patched kernel before compiling ipvsadm

is anyone getting good compiles with gcc-3.0?
