Hi 'im setting up a Linux cluster for a Novell registration site. We'll
probably be using two cheap-o Linux servers to do load balancing +
heartbeat. I'm curious to know, we have around 4 servers initially that
we'll be putting on the back-end of this. The only problem is a lot of the
technology on this is using session variables which, if the client who
connects to the system gets bounced between the 4 servers on their page
requests the session variable will get lost and the users session could get
terminated.

Is there a possible way to setup LVS so that when a user connects (based on
their ip) it only routes that ip to a certain server, thus insuring the
session variables remain intact. I assume you could set some kind of TTL to
give for the IPS in the routing table. I'm just wondering what solutions I
can implement.

Thanks,
