You have to devide between HA software and the loadbalancing software:
Heartbeat and Failsafe are HA software. LVS is a loadbalancing software.

Ultramonkey is a package including LVS and heartbeat.
Piranha is a package including LVS and a HA software done by RedHat.
I'm not absolutly sure but I think Piranha can also only handle two HA nodes.

Did you ever had a look at the version number of you ext2 filesystem?
(it's 0.5 ;-)
