The most simple method is to use different values of preference
on your DNSs MX-records.
If you want to use lvs with ldirectord set checktype to connect
and configure the loadbalancing the same way as you would with
any other port. If you want to program a little bit, take a smtp
module from CPAN and put a service checker into ldirectord.
mysql is listening on port 3306

Betreff: how to config ldirectord for smtp cluster?
Hi guys,
How do I configure an smtp cluster, as far as the service, request and
receive lines?
And also, if I want to have a mysql cluster, what do I put in for that?
Thanks
Ricardo
