Hi all, Does an LVS + 3rd Party combo have anything similar to Cisco LD's "slowstart" feature. i.e. When a server is brought back into service, do not bombard it with tons of packets. Bring it up slowly. I think I saw something like this in the FAQ being done by using weights but have not seen much elaboration on the idea. I guess you could use Mon to bring it up with a low weight, but you still need to find a way to increase the weight a bit later on. Use a timer? Thanks for any thoughts, Serge |
