what is ppc, some kind of persistant connection acronym? :) if you are
looking to change timeouts of ipv4 look in /proc/sys/net/ipv4. for example
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_keepalive_time.
please rephrase your question if that doesn't answer it.
