The current implementation is fairly solid but has not been tested
in production. Before this happens it would probably be worthwhile
porting the DNS component to Bind 9 - which unfortunately turns out
to be non-trivial.

As I no longer work for VA, I don't have time to sit down for a month or so
to fix things up - though I am going to try and make some time. If someone
is keen to put it into production then that would provide a good impetus
for me to do the Bind 9 port.
