refer to fail exp using ipvs 1.0.0 w/ linux 2.4.18, i must say sorry to who is
concerned.
it is NOT the ipvs 1.0.0 problem

even i use ipvs 0.8.2, i found that the case that the client still got such
problem.

here is the description:

be4 i try to connect the VIP of the server, i 1st try to connect its real ip,
all real servers works w/ no problem.
and then i c the arp cache of client, no corresponding cache to the VIP, it's
normal as i hv never connect using that VIP.

1st time connect, the browsers (i use both IE and netscape) said:
 "cannot find server" (IE) and
"A network error occurred while Netscape was sending data. (Network Error:
Connection reset by peer) Try connecting again" (netscape) immediately WITHOUT
timeout.

i check the client's arp cache, there is the VIP cache record now and i will be
success if i try connect again.

if i make clear the browser cache and delete the arp cache(or wait the cache
timeout), the situation will occur again.

anyone has this problem be4 and what 's ur solution.....i am tired in trying
solving this.....still no progress.

Thanks v v much
