what linux distro are you using?
did the ipvs patch apply squeaky cleanly?
is /usr/src/linux symlinked to your /usr/src/linux-2.4.18 directory?
Also, I've had to play around a bit with patch ordering when multiple
patches were involved to ensure that everything patched cleanly.
