We've shied away from having answers for particular distributions,
thinking that once people get it to work on the standard kernel,
that it should be relatively straightforward (if not tedious) to
get their personal distribution to work.
I also don't want to support kernels which are functionally
incompatible with the standard kernel.
However there are reasons to stick with a distribution. At my work
only RedHat 6.2 (yes that's a "6") is certified. If I put a
Linux box on the network, it has to be RedHat 6.2. In places
where security is important, securified distributions can be used.
Someone has offline offered a writeup on RedHat 7.2 for LVS, which I'll
put in the HOWTO. If you get Mandrake to work with LVS and
write it up, I'll put it in the HOWTO also.
