RE: hidden-2.4.5-1.diff patch applyed to 2.4.18

I am using a freshly downloaded kernel from ftp.us.kernel.org. I have tried
applying the hidden patch with 2.4.18, 2.4.19-pre6, and 2.4.19-pre5. Today
I'm going to try 2.4.19-pre10.  Each time I get the same errors.  When I
look at the hidden patch file to see if I have the files listed in the right
spot, I do. It's not a permissions issues because I am root when I do this.
Any ideas.
