I have the pleasure to announce that PFARS 0.9.3 is now available
bleeding-edge open source software daredevils out there.
PFARS For Automatic Replication System is mainly used to sync servers in
LVS clusters but also has many other uses. It is based on rsync over ssh
and has native support for the Debian package system. PFARS is licensed
under the GNU General Public License.
This is the first release I'm actually thoroughly happy with. We've been
running 0.9.3 on our LVS clusters for over a week at where2getit.com, so
I'm very confident with this version's stability. The bug causing pfars
from failing to restart after an upgrade has been fixed and the
init-files.local and files.local files actually work now. And on top of
that I've actually updated the web page. Go ahead and check it out at
http://pfars.sourceforge.net/ Enjoy!
