So, does this mean that I can use this with the standard redhat RPM kernel?  
That would be wonderful news!    I am working on some intermezzo things as well 
for the cluster and I didn't want to have to make the kernel TOO custom.  I 
generally make it a practice not to sway too far away from redhat's release 
kernel.  Makes it easier to update and merge my preferred patches in.
