Problems compiling for 2.3.99 kernel

Hi all,

I was trying to compile LVS[ipvs-0.8.2] for 2.3.99 kernel, faced lots of 
problems and could not succeed, even after fiddling with lots of
source files. feel that 'am taking a circuitous route.

it wud be very useful if someone could help me in figuring out the
best version of ipvs to start with, for the 2.3.99 kernel.
