To clarify. Piranha is built on top of LVS. They have some
customisations to the LVS core, but it is more or less as is. What
Piranha adds is a deamon to monitor hosts, a GUI and stuff like that.

As Joe mentioned in a different mail. Piranha is a Red Hat product.  LVS
is just a project wich lives - to some extent - on this list.

I would recommend building on a raw LVS base. That way
it is useful to this project as well as other projects
(including Piranha) that build on LVS. If you
start from a Piranha base, then you may be narrowing
down your options to some extent.
